How did Girls’ Generation expand their style? Analysis of the four year activity of concerts, their dance techniques and music.
It was 2010 when Girls’ Generation made their Japanese début. In the same year on the 25th of August, a live showcase was held at Ariake Colosseum. We all still remember the nine tall figures standing on stage with confidence. As Asia’s top group who dominates the entertainment scene with their looks, singing and dancing skills, they have released their best album; “GIRLS’ GENERATION: THE BEST”.
Until now they have released nine CD singles and three albums (Girls’ Generation, Girls’ Generation II ~Girls & Peace~, and Girls’ Generation LOVE&PEACE). “THE BEST” includes singles, representative songs from their Japanese albums, a Japanese version of their Korean single ‘’Mr.Mr.’’ and an original Japanese track; “Indestructible”. It is definitely the definitive collector’s item that displays their current legendary discography of four years.Translation by Sayuri G. Kawahara
